Rice Krispie Treats

  • 10 oz salted butter
  • 20 oz marshmallows
  • 10 oz Rice Krispies
  • .5 g salt

Brown the butter in a pot over medium-high heat. Add the salt. Lower the heat to medium-low, and add the marshmallows. Stir occasionally until the marshmallows are thoroughly mixed with the butter. Add the Rice Krispies and mix until everything is thoroughly combined. Remove the pot from heat.

Line a 9x13 pan with wax paper, then scrape the Rice Krispie treat mixture into the pan. Spread the mixture to the edges, but try not to compress the mixture. Wait about 30 minutes, then pull the hardened mixture out by the wax paper and put on a cutting board. Cut into 24 squares.
