Cinnamon Breakfast Bites

  • 1 1/3 c flour
  • 1 c rice krispies, slightly crushed
  • 10 tbsp sugar, divided (2 tbsp + 1/2 c)
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 c shortening
  • 1/2 c milk
  • 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 c melted butter

In a medium bowl combine flour, cereal, 2 tbs. sugar, baking powder and salt. Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in milk just until incorporated. Shape into one inch balls. In a shallow bowl combine remaining sugar and cinnamon. Dip dough balls in melted butter, then roll in cinnamon sugar. Bake on air bake at 425 for 10-15 minutes. Yield 18
