One Rise Cinnamon Rolls

Dough
- 2 1/4 c all purpose flour
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 1/4 tsp yeast
- 1/2 c water
- 1/4 c milk
- 2 1/2 tbsp butter
- 1 egg
Filling
- softened butter
- cinnamon and sugar OR cinnamon and brown sugar
Glaze
- powdered sugar
- milk
- vanilla extract
Stir together flour, sugar, salt, and yeast in stand mixer. Heat the water, milk, and butter together in the microwave until the mixture is very hot to the touch; about 125-130 degrees. Stir the butter mixture into the flour mixture. Add the egg and beat well. Stir in 1/3-2/3 c. more flour until dough is firm but slightly sticky. Cover with towel and let set for 10 minutes.
Roll dough into 14x8 inch. rectangle. Spread with softened butter, sprinkle liberally with cinnamon sugar. Roll up. Cut into approximately 12 pieces. Place in greased 11x7 inch pan. Let rise in warm place for one hour. Bake at 375 for fifteen minutes. Cover with foil. Bake ten minutes more. Immediately drizzle with some of the glaze. When cool, drizzle with remaining glaze.
