Easy Baked Beans
(old recipe cards-1982-Delicious) - Jer's mom
- 2 cans (16-18 oz) Pork & Beans
- 3/4 c brown sugar
- 1 tsp dry mustard
- 6 slices bacon, cut in pieces
- 1/2 c catsup
Empty 1 can Pork & Beans into bottom of greased casserole. Combine sugar and mustard; sprinkle half of mixture over beans. Top with remaining beans. Sprinkle rest of sugar/mustard mixture on top. Arrange bacon over top. Cover with catsup
Bake uncovered 2 1/2 hrs. @325
Note: 1992-even more moist if 1 1/2 the recipe and cook 3- 3 1/2 hrs at 300
Note: 2014-double everything and cook 3-3 1/2 hrs--GREAT
