Saltine Toffee Cookies

  • 2 packages of saltine crackers
  • 1/2 c butter
  • 1/2 c sugar
  • 1 bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 bag of toffee bits

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line cookie sheet with saltine crackers in single layer. In a saucepan melt the sugar and the butter and bring to a boil for a minute. Immediately pour over saltines.

Bake for 5 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips over the top. Let sit for 5 minutes. Spread melted chocolate and top with toffee bits. Cool completely and break into pieces.
