Roasted Pork Loin
The Slow Roasted Italian
- whole pork loin
- olive oil
- seasonings
Pat pork roast dry with paper towels. Place on baking sheet with edges. Rub with olive oil. Sprinkle with seasonings. Salt, pepper, rosemary and garlic powder are good if having with potatoes. If having as barbecue sandwiches, salt, pepper and a touch of cumin is good. Bake at 450 for 10 minutes. Don't open oven door. Reduce heat to 250. Cook for 45-90 minutes depending on size and thickness of roast. Internal temperature needs to be 145 degrees. Let rest for 5 minutes before cutting. Slice thin. Drizzle juices over top.
