Sandy's Ribs

Old recipe card-Sandy is Jer's mom hairdresser

  • 3 c brown sugar
  • 1/4 c Lawry Seasoning salt
  • 2 tbsp paprika

Pack underside of slab and lay in pan. Pack more mixture on top. Repeat w/each slab and layer on top of each other off centered. Cover w/plastic and frig 2 hours (not overnight). Make charcoal bed on one side of grill. Cook on other side 2 hours w/lid on. Build up fire again by adding coal. Get good and hot (15-20 min) so it will sizzle ribs. Brown all edges. Brush repeatedly with favorite BBQ sauce and turning and letting ribs sizzle 20-30 - lid on all the time.
