Pillsbury Crescent Rolls

- 200 g Butter
- 100 g Shortening
- 600 g Flour
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 2 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 1 c Warm Water
- 1 tbsp Yeast
In a small bowl, whisk together the water and yeast. Set aside. Meanwhile, in a kitchen aid mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, salt and baking powder. With the paddle attachment, cut in butter and shortening until very crumbly. Pour in yeast mixture and mix until dough comes together. You may need to add up to 1/4 c. extra water.
Cover with a towel and let dough rest for 30 minutes.
Divide dough into four equal portions. Roll each portion out on parchment paper into a 12x8 inch rectangle.
If not using immediately, roll up and store in a gallon sized ziploc bag.
Yield: 4 tubes of dough
