Deb's Salted Chocolate Chunk Cookies

  • 1/2 c Softened Butter
  • 2 tbsp Granulated Sugar
  • 1/4 c Sugar in the Raw
  • 3/4 c Brown Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 3/4 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/4 tsp Sea Salt (overflowing)
  • 1 3/4 c Flour
  • 1 c Semi-Sweet Choc. Chips, overflowing

Preheat oven to 350. On medium-high speed, cream together butter and sugars for 5 minutes until very light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla, mixing just until combined. Add baking soda and salt. Beat until thoroughly combined. Mix in flour on low speed until dough comes together. Stir in chocolate chunks.

Scoop dough out onto silpat lined baking sheet. Sprinkle with sea salt.

Bake cookies for about 9-10 minutes. Don't overbake!

Yield: 1.5 dozen regular sized or 6 1/4 pound cookies
