Crock Pot Pork Chops and Rice

Old recipe card (Dec '86-very good)

  • 2-8 lean pork chops
  • 1/2 c flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp dry mustard
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 cans Chicken & Rice soup
  • 2 c cooked rice

Dredge chops in flour, salt, mustard and garlic powder. Brown in oil. Place chops in crock pot. Add soup. Cover and cook on low 6-8 hrs. (High: 3 1/2 hours). Half an hour or an hour before serving, add cooked rice and mix in with soup without breaking pork chops.
