Breadsticks (one hour)

Dough
- 1 1/2 c Warm water
- 1 tbsp Yeast
- 2 tbsp White sugar
- 1 1/4 tsp Salt
- 3 - 4 c flour
Topping
- Melted butter
- Garlic powder
- Salt
- Oregano
- Grated parmesan
For dough, whisk together water, yeast, sugar, salt and 1 c flour. Continue adding flour until dough leaves the side of bowl and is soft. Knead for three minutes, adding flour as necessary but making sure not to add too much flour.
Cover with a towel. Let rest for 10-20 minutes.
Pat the dough into a 12-16x7 inch rectangle.
Cut the dough with a pizza cutter into 1 inch strips (about 12-16).
Twist each strip and lay on greased baking sheet. Cover with towel. Let rise for 15 minutes.
Preheat oven to 400. After another 15 minutes, put the breadsticks in the oven. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden.
After removing from the oven, Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with seasonings.
