Baked Spaghetti
- 3/4 box angel hair pasta
- 1 lb ground beef
- 28 oz crushed tomatoes
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- shredded mozzarella
- grated parmesan
- dried oregano
In a large pot, cook ground beef. Drain grease. Scoop ground beef into a bowl and set aside. Cook pasta in same saucepan. Strain. Add cooked pasta back to pan. Add ground beef, tomatoes, salt and red pepper. Stir to combine. Taste and adjust seasonings. Dump into greased casserole dish. Top with mozzarella, parmesan and sprinkle with dried oregano. Bake at 375 for 30 minutes or until cheese starts to brown.
Can make ahead: do everything except for bake. When ready, bake at 375 for 60 minutes - covered with foil the first thirty, then uncovered the last thirty. Can keep for three days unbaked and three days after being baked.
